Short version

We don't sell your data. We don't track you across the web. Calculator inputs never leave your browser. We collect only what's needed to keep the tools running and to reply to your messages — here's exactly what that means.

1. What we collect

When you use mypoollab, we may collect basic, anonymized usage data — which pages you visit and which calculators you interact with. This data is aggregated; we cannot trace it back to you individually.

If you submit our contact form, we collect your email address and message so we can reply. If you choose to add your name, we store that too. Nothing else is collected from the form.

What we never collect
  • User accounts or passwords
  • Payment information of any kind
  • Your pool's chemical data saved to our servers
  • Your location or IP address for tracking purposes
  • Device fingerprints or cross-site identifiers

Calculator inputs stay in your browser. When you enter your pool volume, salt level, or any other value into a calculator, that data is processed entirely client-side. It is never sent to or stored on our servers.

2. How we use it

Anonymized usage data helps us understand which calculators people find most useful, where people drop off, and what to build next. It answers questions like: are people bouncing off the pH calculator, or are they using it and coming back?

Contact form data is used for one thing only: replying to you.We don't add you to any mailing list, run your email through marketing tools, or store your message longer than needed.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, sell to third parties, or personalize content based on your behavior.

3. Cookies & analytics

We do not use Google Analytics. If we run analytics, it is through a cookieless, privacy-respecting provider — no cross-site tracking, no personally identifiable data, no ad profiles.

The only cookies that may be set are session cookies required for the site to function correctly. These expire when you close your browser and contain no personal information.

We do not use your data to build advertising profiles, sell to third parties, or personalize content based on your behavior.

4. Third-party services

Running mypoollab requires a small number of trusted providers. Here's exactly who they are and what they may see:

5. Data retention

Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months, then permanently deleted. We keep them long enough to follow up on ongoing issues and track recurring bugs — not indefinitely.

Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics may be retained longer as they contain no personal information and cannot be linked back to any individual.

You can request deletion of your contact form data at any time. We'll confirm deletion within 7 days. See Your Rights below.
